Four finalizations from lineout

The lineout is a fundamental part of the game. Despite this, you cannot organize training only on the throw-in, but you can incorporate it while working on another fundamental.
Always taking advantage of the enthusiasm that the boys have for goal shooting in this article we will see how to get to the conclusion starting from the lineout.
These are exercises that all start from precise game situations so easily recalled later in the pre-match.
We can also carry them out according to different distances and trajectories so as to recreate the many situations that can happen later in the game.
1st Station
A takes the throw-in and passes the ball into the space in front of B, who chases after it (starting on the move) and after the first bounce shoots at the goal on the volley.
2nd Station
A takes the throw-in and passes the ball over man B and sprints toward the center of the field. B after receiving passes the ball into space on the run of A who goes to finish in the net.
3rd Station
A takes the throw-in and passes the ball into space along the sideline. B sprints and runs with the ball to the back of the field where he crosses to the center of the field where in the meantime A takes himself after taking the throw-in.
4th Station
A takes the throw-in and passes the ball over man B who comes running in front of A. A sprints toward the center of the field. B after receiving the ball passes it on the run of A who after control will throw B to the net with a pass.
Obviously the elements in this drill are many but as a coach we are not going to emphasize so many situations. We care about working on the lineout so we will avoid correcting or explaining too many things about the conclusion.
We will take advantage of the goal shooting and the boys’ desire to attack so that we can also work on the technical fundamental of the throw-in.
These topics are constantly evolving and developing.
